Creature from The Black Lagoon

This particular classic horror character is actually one of my dads favorite monsters, and one that actually was a huge part of his childhood. I myself don't find the monster scary, but when we brought it up In discussion,i thought that maybe "hey, I could redesign the msotner and make it scary." a few other artist have also given their take on the creature, but for me this is my first.

first off I decided to make the creature look more like something out of the deep sea.I even gave it a few predatory adaptations and traits, which I may show off in future pics.

but for now, just enjoy the redesign and have a nice swim.
