I can understand why the audiences everywhere are giving it such positive feedback.
it's a good look at the star wars universe from an alternate perspective, and the movie itself show's just why the empire is so evil and must be opposed.
But the movie also explores the less than savory elements that work for the rebel alliance, as well as extremist who act outside of the alliance's protocols.
Not going to spoil anything, but the ending is bittersweet, and show cases why the rebel are so heroic in the face of the overwhelming and remorseless malignance of the empire.
I can safely say that after this, we're all looking forward to more "A star wars story" movies.

A Final Word on 020
It has undeniably been a rough year for all of us, given the Covid-19 Pandemic, political turbulence and the large amounts of social upheaval that has occurred all throughout the year. But amidst all the anxiety, tension, division and loss, there's been moments and opportunities for comfort, unity, belonging and love to flourish. I know that some among you have- or know of someone-, who has sadly lost someone to this pandemic. But we can best honor their memory, not just by following pandemic protocols until the day where the vaccine has hopefully become publicly available, but by keeping up our spirits, and reaching out to and helping those you know are still hurting or struggling, weather than be in the realm of the digital, or the real world. We honor them by bringing joy, laughter, awe, and love to the world. We honor them by maintaining our currents bonds of friendship and fellowship how best we can, and perhaps find new ones in the days to come. 2021 may be a chance for
Here's to 2020
when ever the time of new years eve rolls around, i can't help but try to reflect on the good and the the bad of each year.
to try and reflect on all the triumphs and tragedies,
the accomplishments and failings,
the heights of joy and the stumbling and rock bottoms of sorrow.
the old habits and new experiences,
the hope the dread of each new possibility and probability.
we've seen a lot this year.
from political circuses, to triumphs of activism and awareness, to the end of series and franchises to the begging of news ones.
we've edged ever closer to new scientific and technological developments which, while bringing their own set
NYC Comic Con strikes again (2019)
ya gotta love the big apple am i right? Sorry for not posting for a while* (* an absurdly long time), but I've been caught up in day to day stuff. And while i would like to ramble, i don't wanna overwhelm anyone or come off as narcissistic.
anyway i yet again manged to get to comic yesterday and let me tell you, it was happening as always. crowds, comics, merchandise, games, cosplay, movies, anything a fellow nerd could want. plus it helps that the people are actually nice.
admittedly there weren't a lot of panels i attended thoroughly , largely due to how the con center is built and because my friends and i go one day (though i hope to ch
The Rise Of Anime Boston (2019)
Hey yall, I'm back!
(well, technically I'm no longer AFK, due to forgetting to log out. but enough about that).
my fifth time up to Anime Boston!
let me tell you it is always a huge joy to be there and to meet old acquaintances and make new ones. not to mention seeing new anime, as well as screenings of old material you've seen in room with other people to enjoy. the staff, as always we're helpful. and I finally used the guidebook app to help schedule things. and like last year I was geared my towards panels than merchandise.
and like last year i'll divide this into parts with lines so it's not a huge wall of text.
